2008 Cheetah Awards Banquet

         The Savannah-Chatham Silver Cheetahs Track & Field Athletes were celebrated

         at the 2008 Cheetah Awards Banquet, Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the

         Delaware Community Center. The Champion Team of 21 athletes returned home

         with an impressive 19 medals, breaking the team's prior record. The National     

         Championships were hosted in Detroit, Michigan, July 25th through August 2nd

         by the Amateur Athletic Union. Over 9000 athletes were a part of the formidable

         competition.

          The Cheetahs are enjoying this year's success while thinking ahead for next

          year's Junior Olympics, to be hosted in Des Moines, Iowa. If you have a child or

          The Cross Country season is underway. The Cheetahs want to thank the
